I can't see it being anything other than Devil May Cry.

I don't think people realize this, but DMC is like Capcom's 5th or 6th biggest IP of all time, and it technically only has 5 installments. Even the flop that was DmC managed to sell about 2 million or so in the end. (Vanilla has sold 1.9, DmC:DE numbers are unknown). Add to that the insane amount of teasing by the actors and how Itsuno talked about DMC4SE being "proof" the franchise is not dead and it being something else just seems like a stretch. They went back to an 8 year old game and made brand new content; if more wasn't coming that's a really, really weird thing to do.

Also, Dante's VA posted this on his Facebook like a week or so ago. He seems to be very in touch with his fans (and extra terrestrials) so doing this would basically be the biggest middle finger ever if more wasn't coming.
