It's only "fine" if you're playing one of the games they've actually hacked together fixes for, AND you don't care about all the shit they just don't display because emulating it would be too much hassle.

PS2 emulation right now is about the same as PSX was a decade ago. By which I mean, absolute garbage that just about works if you have no other choice, or don't care at all about accuracy.
