Yeah but in that game there was at least a slow build up to the harder missions and better armed enemies. In Vice City there was literally no telling if you're going to fight a couple guys with melee weapons or a whole gang hideout with M4s and Uzis that are cheese graters to Tommy's health and armor. Like in some missions you'll lose absolutely no health and in others you'll get your ass kicked because they can shoot you like a laser. I guess they assumed that anyone playing Vice City beat III already.

No it's true you lose health way too fast, the thing that kills you in a mission is always some asshole behind you that just goes absolutely nuts with his gun and in 5 seconds all your health and armour is gone. It's fun I love the game but shit like that got me really pissed off
