Waning and Triangle gems tend to have elemental secondary effects for maximum AR stacking on Arc builds. And one could argue that Radial Nourishing Abyssals are harder to farm than Triangle/ Waning, so one would want as few radial slots as possible on a Nourishing weapon build.

I am so sick of medieval fantasy after all the other souls games. And I thought BB had really cool designs.

Then it was ruined by EVERYONE running around with Ludwigs. Completely destroyed the design the game was going for everytime I was invaded or saw a ghost. I swear if there were a medieval armor like elite knight everyone would've used that too.
Which might've been better. I would've preferred if you use the "Knight weapon" you devote fully to being a "knight" but most of the time they were wearing the normal leather outfights which do not fit at all with Ludwig's.

Not really. That was not a fighting Knight. That was clearly what nobles would wear who had Knight titles. The Cainhurst Set which is a fighting version of the knight set. That set would fit well with Ludwig's. Also the Yahargul set.

I love the kirk it´s just not my favourite. I used it on my first playthrough and stomped everything that moves. Picking a favourite in Bloodborne is really hard, almost all weapons are god tier. I think the sound design is a large part of it, most weapons have at least one or two moves that make a borderline orgasmic sound when used and really push the enjoyment factor when you manage to take out enemies. For example:
>Kirkhammer, especially the charger r2
>Church pick second r2 scraping the ground
>Beast cutter almost every attack
>Blade of mercy when you start speeding up with r1
>Beasthunter Saif transform attacks, and wide r1´s
>Boom hammer explosions
>Almost all Burial Blade attacks
>Spinning up the Logarius Wheel
