For me the only good thing about playing in Japanese was Haru's voice. And she's a character I don't particularly care much about in the first place. Sugita and Rina Satou are rad, but it's not like those two are so perfect they completely outclass what Matthew Mercer and Cherami Leigh brought to the characters.

I played the game twice, once in English and once in Japanese. If I ever play again, I'm probably just gonna play in English again. Mostly just to hear English Ryuji's "LET'S TEAR 'EM APART" which is delivered in such a fun way. I also shamelessly like Futaba's English voice over the Japanese one.

Her intro felt kinda rushed too, she was foreshadowed sometimes early in the game but nothing really serious ever occurred. Plus she got the least amount of development because she was one of the last characters to be recruited.
The problem could have been fixed like with how they handled Naoto and have her appear early in the game and actually give hers some significance with the group before joining. Or something along the lines of having her arc build up a bit more like Rise.

I just went full World of STR and rolled with Ryuji, Yusuke and Haru.
I always had a physical persona with auto-taru on me later on auto-mataru, and gave Yusuke the rakshasha belt.
one the off chance that something resisted physical attacks I just nuked it with my gallows customized arsene.

If there is anything that is the bane of my existance it are random teleporter dungeons.
I was stuck for like 2 hours a year or two back in the silp co building in pokemon red.
Don't even ask me how long I was stuck in [record scratch]'s dungeon in IV:A, the only reason how I managed to get through that shit was because the map kept track of which doors you went through if it wasn't for that I would still be stuck in that dungeon today.
