Look man, I've got a PS4 but that's because of two reasons. One, it has Gravity Rush on it and I'm a fan. Two, I found one cheap enough to justify buying what would basically be a "Kat n' pals" box. It's got Gravity Rush, Bloodborne, and reliable multiplat support. It's not the fuckup that the other consoles are but it's not great either, and it definitely shouldn't be one's first Sony console.

That depends. I have a shitty laptop and use my PS4 for current multiplats and exclusives. If you have a good PC look up the exclusives and if you like them buy one. You can get a slim for 200€.

Paid online cancer, but I only play sp games anyways so I don't care.
Physical games are cheaper than Nintendo games from my experience like 50€ on release day.
Controller is pretty nice, but the battery life isn't as good as the Wii U pro controller.
PS4 isn't backwards compatible but there are a couple Ps1, PS2 and PS3 ports or remasters like Kingdom hearts or Ape Escape 2^^.

Nier Automata is good but doesn't translate to "almost all" when it's only 1 game. Persona5, World of FF, GR2, NioH, Yakuza0 for example aren't on PC. And these are only some from the past 2 quarters alone.
I was about to mention Zelda BotW too, but the emulation on that is so close to being done that I won't bother.

I guess you don't look hard enough at releases if you aren't even aware of the AAA stuff, much less the equally as good AA games.
