The combat is OKAY I guess but this game is just so fucking boring to me. It has no story, no atmosphere, emotion and every enviroment looks the same. The audio logs sound like they were done for free by some amateurs. Armor is pointless, leveling up is pointless.

Basically there's no motivation to keep playing. There's no mystery, no reward.

No, but it's not as bad as /v/ lets on. Remember that on nu-/v/, zelda botw is considered to be 11/10 and literally flawless, while souls series is considered 5/10 overrated garbage.

The surge is okay, and it's probably worth a weekend or so to play through if you're bored. If you're a poorfag I would avoid dropping $60 but if you're an real adult with a real job and you're not making high-school-tier wages, I'd say give it a shot.

it was the Warhammer action game I never knew I wanted

Yea, the hitboxs need a lot of work too and weapon variety should at least lean towards some form of progression outside of boss weapons. The second best one-hander you get at the start of the game, so there are a lot of trap weapons.
Not to mention the help option is useless unlike in souls and nioh.

Like, they couldn't even get the fucking BASICS of the combat right. Using a heavy duty weapons is a horrible, frustrating experience, just to give one example.

The devs even said, they made a market analysis and saw that denuvo wasn't a good choice for this game.

I don't know how they come up with those numbers but I'd really like to find out, because I just can't fathom DRM increasing sales on the market as it is right now, denuvo just works to diminish the range of effect of the game, a lot of people don't even get to hear about the game because so many poorfags don't get to play it and sperg about ir online.
