So the Switch saw it's first major drop in sales this week. Is it just Golden Week or is the demand starting to slow down.
Note: For all people who said the 3DS should die it's still the 2nd best selling console and Monster Hunters XX has more than doubled the sales of BotW

Are there really 17,000 new Jap 3DS owners in 2017?
I can't fucking find a switch in stores so I dunno what this shit's about

Yep system has sold better than the PS4 it's almost up to 70 Million units sold

It's just Golden Week. This happens every year.

>70 Million units sold
>>377277175
Yea...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nintendo_3DS_sales
it isn't even up to dat its at 66 Million almost there though

But is it always this bad?

You realize this is from only from this week alone. There are way more than 17,000 new Jap 3DS owners in 2017
Considering Switch is still getting new games and ports announced on a weekly basis, I doubt that sales are slowing down.

Using info from here
>>377277383
There has been approximately 820,000 New 3DS owners worldwide since December 31, 2016.

The Wii U had new games and ports being announced at this phase of it's life. Not saying your wrong just saying that fact alone doesn't mean it's not slowing down.
>Massively overstock for Golden Week
>Less consoles the week after
How is this confusing? That's some grade school arithmetic shit.

Wouldn't the (false) scarcity justify the low sales? Nintendo hasn't shipped much of them since launce so that would make sense.....
I just bought a 3ds for the first time. To hack of course.
