No, Barq is his own dude who does whatever he wants; Byte do not get hurt when he does.

Barq just kinda does his own thing; he attacks and moves of his own free will. He even takes hits for you, but he seems to stay down for quite a while.

I personally hate waggalin shit, plus the left joycon is a piece of shit so I want to use my pro controller but I think there might be some gameplay that doesn't translate as well from motion to pad, what do you think?
