I get the feeling he owes a ton of people money and they're hounding him about it constantly. But since MN9 and Recore flopped and no one will ever trust him again, he can't pay his investors and debtors back. I'm sure some more extreme consequences are being considered (e.g. Yakuza), so he's trying to hide and hope this all blows over.

Inti-Creates gets a lot of the blame too. They are bungling morons when ti comes to 3D and Unreal engine. Give them 5 million and they'll give you what looks like a student project. Because, relative to their skills, that IS a student project. They're still learning 3D modeling.

Stop giving Inafune sole credit. He worked a bit on the concept and design. But it was director Teruhiro Shimokawa who had a much bigger role in the game. Thank him. Thank SCE Japan Studio as well.

The whole problem with Mighty Number 9, is that we gave Inafune sole credit for everything, letting him be blown up as a super genius. The release of the game led that image to come crashing down back to reality.
