There are 3 things to do in this game. How the fuck is it so popular? It's fun for the first few days but seriously, shit gets old quick. No variety whatsoever. Even the shrines only have 4-5 kinds of variety between them all.

At least skyrim had dialogue trees and side quests. In zelda every side quest just leads to either a fucking seed or another shrine.

So, literally just like Skyrim, except it doesn't try to hide the "Proceed" option behind three different options that all lead to the same outcome.

I don't usually like open worlds but I really like BOTW. I think it's because there's no direction that I don't feel obligated to go anywhere. Explore. I've probably put 30-40 hours in and I only have 5 hearts.
Hell I got Thunder Calamity Ganon down halfway with 5 hearts and no fairies. Then he one shotted me with lightning that I froze up and should have moved. Beat the other phases to get beat by that retard in one attack.
I might get bored as I get farther, but so far it's a fucking amazing experience just to wander.

Skyrim also has factions and multiple outcomes for multiple quests. Zelda just calls a different text file with an altered line or two.
