Hi-v Gundam, Slave Wraith, and Gelgoog High Maneuver Model (Vincent Gleissner’s Mobile Suit) will be playable in Gundam Versus, the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu reveals.

The magazine also has a look at eight 200-Cost Mobile Suits, including Guntank, as well the latest information on the game’s modes and side elements. That information has yet to leak.

Gundam Versus is due out for PlayStation 4 on July 6 in Japan, and this fall in North America and Europe.

Gundam Versus games are team based VS fighting games.
In this case, each team starts with 1000 points at start of the match. Before match, they choose mech which can cost from 200 up to 500 points.
When in battle their mech gets destroyed, amount of points which that mech costs gets detracted from 1000 poll.
First team to deplete enemy's poll of 1000 points - wins.

It's a game balance mechanics. Microtransactions don't exist as far I know, but get ready for shitload of new mechs as DLCs later down the line.

Watch the 0079 compilation movies so you can enjoy Zeta, ZZ, CCA, and the OVA's. 00, G, Build Fighters, Gundam X, and Victory (to an extent) are all separate from the UC stories and history and can be enjoyed on their own. I would actually suggest watching Gundam Build Fighters first, watching a handful of different Gundam shows, and then watching GBF again to see what you missed.

Overall it's pretty balanced, but more on the higher level than the lower. Really depends on what type of mech you going to use and on your skill level.

It's not that it's ugly. It's that it doesn't look like it belongs in the UC. It looks like a Seed suit. UC suits are supposed to be less symmetrical than Non-UC suits, and suits like the base Nu work just as well due to aerodynamics not mattering in space.

tricky question. They do have more HP and more powerful attacks usually, but quite a number of them is hard to control.
For example if you give novice 200 suit and other novice 500 suit - novice in 500 suit will lose, cause even if he trades one for one, he still costs more points. There are a lot of things you need to learn to play expensive suits correctly.
but if you give good player 200 suit and good player 500 suit - player in 500 suit should be able to kill player in 200 suit at least 2-3 times and that will be quite equal balanced match.
It's really depends from suit to suit basis, but in general novices prefer something cheaper, while more skilled players can go with whatever.

In terms of raw power, then yes, but experience is also very important.

If you're brand-spanking new and using a 500 you're far more of a liability than anything, since if you die twice, your team loses.

However if you play a 300, you have to die 4 times before your team loses.
HOWEVER, you must also factor in that your teammate could die as well. And if you die while there's not enough team life to "compensate" your respawn fully, you'll have less health.

Example:

>500 spawns with 1/5th HP because there's only 100 left in the gauge so he basically can't use any of his high-power tools effectively without putting himself at huge risk
