I fell off the Skyforge wagon a long long while ago. I think the setting and overall aesthetic looks great, and the overarching gameplay idea of "unlock all classes on the same character, hotswap whenever you want" was neat, but the Russian grinding was too much for me.

Nowadays, I hear the game is dead on PC.

The classes are relatively simple, excluding the Monk, and the game was released back during the time when action MMOs were still worming their way into the mainstream of the genre. Each class had distinct aesthetics, and on the whole, much of the game's staying power was that it was really pretty to look at, especially with its fantasy sci-fi aesthetic. The idea of playing an immortal on the road to explicit godhood was also a different take on things, hence the ability to access all classes simultaneously.

Shame the gameplay is original barrens quest tier. I was surprised at how unfun they made everything though it is nice to look at.

I'd love to show it off, but its era has passed on PC. And if the gameplay doesn't turn you off, the Russian grinding will.

Which is a shame, because again, this game is fucking beautiful. Definitely one of the best-looking MMOs I've played.

I was hoping this goal would keep me hooked for months but I got it under a week and the only incentive to keep playing now is for the remaining classes to unlock, which I don't really care much.
I don't ask a lot when it comes to stories in mmos but this game's story is literally mindless dribble that I tune out the second people start talking.
Damn shame cause I like some of its ideas and I love the artstyle but there's just so many things wrong with it or missed potential.
i hope whoever does the art does a over the shoulder shooter with that artstyle in the future, I like it, specially the women.
