Already seen enough gameplay footage to know it's not as sluggish as Lords of the Fallen.
That being said I think it's a crying shame that it's sci-fi but still only melee focused. I know there's the drone that does piddly ranged damage, but I just wanted some proper ranged weapons for your dudebroman.

I may get it, waiting on post-launch reviews / gameplay to come along. most of the people who have it now are playing review copies, and for obvious reasons they can't give an objective, unbiased review.

Heartless copypaste in the name of "expanding the genre." The Souls games were built on unique lore and mysterious environments that you would want to explore. The world isn't just a series of levels in those games. The music and boss fights also make the games, and western hucksters can't replicate genuine talent in that department.
