I got one recently. Played Dragon's Crown for one playthrough - decent enough game. Now I'm playing Soul Sacrifice. Fucking atrocious art style but also decent enough game. Honestly the only thing I'm actually looking forward to play is P4G which is supposedly the system seller.

If you get a PS4 check out the PS4 version of Tearaway since you liked it, it's got a whole bunch of new levels and gimmicks and they extended massive portions of the older levels as well. It's basically twice as long as the original. 3DS has had dozens of exploits over the course of its lifetime. Vita has had one (arguably two) that was secretly in the works for months and the team who did it say they have no interest in newer firmwares.

The massive library of cheap as fuck downloadable PS1 and PSP titles is awesome but a PSP can do that as well while also being easily hacked. As for exclusives, they're few and far between but it still has a strong collection of good games.

I found and bought a brand new borderlands edition bundle a couple of days ago (I already had a 1000).

Pretty happy with it so far.

The screen is noticeably worse, dpads and face buttons are the same, shoulders and thumbsticks are surprisingly better in the 2000 model, way firmer, the thumbsticks are probably because I used my 1000 A LOT so they became a little loose, but the shoulders are way more clicky in the 2000, its nice.

The battery lasts almost twice as long, obviously thats because of the mileage my 1000 had, but also because the screen uses less power, and something I never read anywhere else, the minimum screen brightness goes way lower on the 2000, 2/5th of the brightness bar is roughly the same as the minimum brightness in the 1000 model.

ur0 has 1GB less of memory available (which is used as the "internal storage" avaiable if you dont have a mem card) which is kind of a bummer because I use it to drop the roms for my emus.

Its way more comfortable due to its reduced weight and size.

Im gonna stick with 2000 to use it portably due to the weight, size and battery but use the 1000 at home because of the noticeably better screen.

That's PSTV + P4G in Eastern Europe where I live. PSTV is like $60, the rest is the game since I couldn't find it for cheap anywhere I looked. I don't think I'll spend the money, I can play old games with shit graphics just fine but using crappy upscaling to get to 2160p from 408p is probably going to be too ugly to spend tens of hours on and have to pay for it too.

Macross Delta Scramble is really good if you like mecha, same with the new Damascus Gears, PSNOVA is pretty fun if you want a PSO2 lite offline, and of course, SaGa Scarlet Grace which is a real gem and a must play for RPG fans, loads of replay value and an amazing battle system and music.
There's also a few fun budget games like Assault Gunners that aren't half bad if you want some quick mindless fun, but I'm a /m/an so anything with mechs or robutts in it is kind of a weak point for me.
