Every show nowadays is about subverting tropes and expectations, but most of them fall flatter than the actual tropes and expectations.
It seems to be enough to please the brainlets though. One Punch Man is very popular.

I liked Invisible Inc as a Strategy/Stealth game, it isn't perfect and the indie-sized budget shows in places, but it hit the right niche for me (Stealth XCOM)

as for puzzle games, I really like Amanita Design's point and clicks, they're a Czech game dev with great atmosphere in their vidya
