It's alright. Mechanics are pretty solid and it looks great, but I found that it got dry pretty quickly. I never tried the DLC, though.

The modes are hit or miss, too. Deathmatch was kind of boring, but Conquest and Hero vs. Hero were both fun

The truth is; FPS on consoles are much more forgiving than PC ones.
You have aim assist so you can be on par with better players.
Also, people you're facing have way slower reaction time and are way less accurate (because controller < m&kb) so you're living longer, aka not being frustrated by long cycles of respawn & die (especially in games like BF1).

COD is not fun anymore, but COD:WWII looks promising
Pick up GTA V, it'll keep you busy for a while
Destiny 2 will have a lot of players considering that the first game is still the most-played multiplayer game on PS4/Xbone - but don't get the first Destiny, its too late to get it now.
