How do you judge music? I don't really get it. I listen to Warrior Within's soundtrack and it sounds fine yet people consider it terrible:

WW came out at the height of nu-metal and the soundtrack being very heavily inspired by that genre led to most people hating it on principle. Personally, I thought it was okay, the song you posted is catchy as hell.
That being said, Godsmack fucking suck and I Stand Alone was a dumb shit song for retard teenagers. It's actually a little appropriate for WW because the game is basically about the prince acting exactly like a bratty teenager would.

And I can't really understand why /v/ is mad at WW and how "edgy" it is. The game came out in 2004. Most of the /v/ was still shitting their pants back then. It wasn't edgy. It was fucking awesome. And so was nu metal!
Bands at least sounded interesting back then, not like "generic metalcore shit" 10 years later!

Warrior Within's soundtrack fit the game though. Plot, themes, visuals, even combat compared to SoT worked extremely well with angry metal screeching in background. I get disliking WW as whole, but there's nothing wrong with its music.

Who? Where? Nu-DOOM has one of the most fitting OST I heard in my life. You can't have edgy demon killing with happy dance music.
