Why are so many Steam reviewers seemingly autistic and/or illiterate?

I've seen people give games negative reviews for not having an FOV slider even though they do, in fact, have an FOV slider. I've seen people give games negative reviews because the game doesn't play like a game they prefer, or doesn't have co-op, or has too many cutscenes, or doesn't have enough cutscenes, or the cutscenes are unskippable -- even though you can in fact skip almost all of them.
