They're stupid and maybe Wario as an app wouldn't have the appeal the main nintendo icons have, so I think we will only see watered down Mario games, Pokemon Go 2 Fucking Die, Link's dressing games and shit like that.

Keep in mind that intense action games and fighting games sometimes don't work well on touch screen phones.

I found RPG games like Golden Sun 1&2, Final Fantasy series, and Fire Emblem work very well on a phone. Advance wars also handles on a phone very well. Zelda games also work great. Tales of Phantasia.

Pokemon obviously, but Metabots is a good alternative if you want something like Pokemon but different. Personally I find it a little less childish. (Bad guys actually have the means to kill you not just knock out your pet)

For a simple action game there is Castlevania Aria of Sorrow and Metroid Fusion but you have to see how well those go on your phone.
