Serious answer: No, but they could do a side story for Akechi, kind of like The Answer in Persona 3 FES. Instead of party members, he would fight alongside other Personas like a traditional SMT game. The palaces would be about murdering people rather than stealing their treasures.

That sounds like a good idea in concept, but I don't know that just raw dungeon crawling would work in Persona, seeing as it didn't work for the answer, and I can't think of what Goro could do in the real world sections that would be fun.
