The game is really fun but it insults your intelligence far too much. I don't know if this was because they wanted to make it feel more like a team by having your teammates constantly chime in or if they genuinely thought we needed help.

50 hours in and I adore it. I can't believe how lucky I was to get to play Breath of the Wild and this game back to back

It's fine but it holds your hand WAY too much. You can't go in a fairly linear dungeon and run across any brightly-colored clue without that fucking cat telling you you should check it out.

It's the best Persona game, and certainly washes out the bad taste FFXV left. I thought FFXV might have been a good shot for saving JRPGs but in the end Persona 5 did it. I never saw it coming.
