Man, I remember playing Doom for the first time years ago and thinking how awesome it was despite being so much older than other games I had played. I remember playing E1M5 and just thinking to myself "god this game is so fucking cool" for the first time and just becoming totally absorbed by the game from there on, and then the entirety of episode 3 was basically "THIS GAME IS SO FUCKING COOL". Even despite being 20 years old, Doom is still an awesome game that can wow people that are playing it for the first time; I know there are people that won't be wowed by it or won't enjoy it because "the graphics look like shit" or "the gameplay is so boring", but I do hope anyone playing it for the first time enjoys the fuck out of it because god do I love this game.
