I only buy games on steam when they're dirt cheap off keysites or you can't mod them without using steam. Fuck MGSV mods. Had to make me purchase that shit game to be able to use Infinite Heaven. I hope it is worth it.

To actually play the game. Hours logged can be done if you put a non steam Game into steam. Also caring about hours and achievements is cancerous. They're a nice touch, but I don't mind having free fun at the expense of missed achievements.

How is 1's and 0's you torrented has any less "value" than the same 1's and 0's you downloaded from steam servers?
If anything your 1's and 0's has minus value since you paid for them while pirate got it for free. Not to mention the electric your computer wastes from downloading from steam is much more since volvo servers is almost always slower than torrents and you ended up paying more for electric bill.
In fact steam games will always have less "value" than physical copies since you actually, physically own these and you can even sell them for even more depending on the game.
There is literally no reason to not pirate single player games and buy physical copies for multiplayer games while talking about "value".
