WEGs are pretty terrible for the most part. There's some exceptions that have more of a mainstream feel, like Four Elements, Princess Trainer Gold, and Something Unlimited. But 99% of them are complete garbage made by Russians with barely passable passable translations and rendered in DAZ instead of drawn by hand. And they're all fucking visual novels that are a stretch to call a 'game' of any type. The only thing they have going for them is sex appeal.

Also, that demon neighbor visual novel is a tech demo. it's pretty. that's it. the concept is generic and the writing is dragged-out garbage filler.
