Actually I just wasn't remembering correctly, I thought that Focus loses its effect if you don't use a physical move on the very next turn for some reason. Haven't played the game in a long time now.

You can physically damage him whenever you like, he's just resistant to it.
I spoke to the NPC that tells you he only has one weakness, so when I landed my first punch and saw him take damage I presumed it was physical only - so went through the battle without knowing he's weak to zio.

It's a damn shame because Baphomet was one of the first demons a researched heavily as a kid .

His only good stat is magic and they don't give him access to any fucking good spells. To give him a chance at being good at all you basically need to fuck in fusion forever. It's a damn shame given how good his design is and the history behind the demon it's self.

If you debuff him, he always wastes a turn using Dekaja. There is almost literally no way to lose if you play normally and learn his weakness cause he only does his beast eye shit if he thinks he has enough turns.
