>game has been at the last 2 E3s
>game was already written
>probably used same engine as the first
>most things already in place
Yet why does this game seem to be stuck in development hell?
bump

Remember when faggots said
>It doesnt matter that Obsidian isnt on board anymore, all Ubisoft has to do, is to follow the blueprint!
Yeah right. See what happened?
It's gonna suck isn't it
>>376793241
They thought Shrillary was going to win
>>376793241
>>376793241
Just like last season they assumed Clinton was going to win and just like last season Trump winning ruined everything they had planned.
>>376793650
>Developer: Ubisoft San Francisco
And what have they made.......oh......
>It's another Mass Effect Andromeda
>>376793241
They're waiting for Denuvo v5
>>376793783
MS and TP could throw obscene amounts of cash at Ubisoft to prioritize this game if they wanted to
>>376793241
its because they based the entire games storyline on the original ending of the last season
they have to rewrite EVERYTHING
>>376793241
It's only been in development for two years. Even if you ignore the delays due to the THQ shit Stick of Truth was in active development for 3+ years and they still had to cut huge sections of the game.
>>376793868
busy rewriting any of the jokes they think are offensive probably
Trump's victory cucked Matt and Trey and they had to remake the whole game along with 20th season.
>yet another potentially great game tainted by Ubishit
>>376793241
Didn't they have to rewrite half of it because everyone assumed clinton would win, but then trump won? I thought this was confirmed?
>>376794547
That was embarrassing. How do you go from shitting on Hillary since season 1 to dedicating an entire episode to shilling for her? I couldn't believe it when I saw it.
>>376795150
Like the Simpsons, South Park quickly went from "Everybodys stupid in some way" to "just conservatives are stupid"
>>376793241
the jokes are probably already outdated because of how fast the capeshit evolves
>>376795221
>implying capeshit has 'evolved' at all since it's inception as trash for children 50 years ago
>>376795071
Good.
Hope those libtard faggots learned their lesson.
>>376795329
cancer has stages, anon
>>376795071
>along with 20th season
lolwat
>>376793713
the first one was in development hell for a while too
if you liked that one you should enjoy this one
>>376795451
20th season had to be given a totally new ending half because of Trumps victory.
Matt and Trey thought Clinton was so in the bag they wrote the season with her winning with no contimgency. Im not even exaggerating. Thats why they had to halt the season for like 2-3 weeks.
Has anyone gone back and rewatched the old seasons? I'm curious if they're as comfy as I remember them being when I was little
>>376795329
>50
we are nearing 82 years dude
>>376795360
>Matt & Trey
>libtards
I remember when /pol/ praised South Park just one season ago for putting SJWs in their place.
>>376795605
if you enjoy scrappy animation and retarded humour than the early seasons are way better than any recent seasons
>>376795656
they've become increasingly pussified by their wives
>>376795695
or they just triggered both sides because that's how they are
>>376795537
>they had to halt the season for 2-3 weeks
Literally not true, faggot. They take a week off in the middle of every season.
>>376795605
Theyre all still good imo. Its still the boyd having wacky adventures, and if the episode is a criticism of society, alot of it is well written and timeless, like Fun Times With Weapons or Douche vs. Turd Sandwhich.
Modern South Parks problem is theyre creatively bankrupt so they cover shit thats so niche and FOTM no one will remember it or care 5 years from now. Also having season long narratives is absolutley retarded for a show like South Park.
>>376795329
>trash for children 50 years ago
>>376793241
It was DOA the minute we heard
>Ubisoft
I shit on companies like Bethesda and Blizzard for making shitty decisions and being megajews, but no one comes close to Ubishit's level of incompetence. Not even EA.
They literally haven't made a single game that lives up to expectations but people still buy their garbage off empty promises.
>>376795656
That's weird because it was pro libshit but attacking problematic lib shit
>>376795150
I'm not an American, but from an outside view Hilary was shit and boring, but Trump is an obnoxious idiot
consider how close your country is currently skirting war with N.Korea, Russia, and China under his administration, and it's only been a few MONTHS that he's been in power
>>376795872
China already has a new trade deal with the US, which is favorable for both. I don't think they're going to go to war anytime soon. N.Korea is a joke so who cares. And its the democrats and neocons stirring up shit with Russia, not Trump.
>>376795765
They took at least two weeks off after the election. Go look at Wikipedia. Two week gap between November 16th and November 30th. Guess what happenes just before the 16th?
>>376795765
Then look up on YouTube "The first man" or something it was a preview for the episode during election week and said Clinton won.
>>376795150
Maybe they wanted her big ass?
>>376795872
>skirting war with N.Korea
The US has been skirting war with North Korea ever since the Korean war ended.
>Russia
Funny how in one breath neoliberals claim Trump is in bed with Russia and the next they claim he's going to war with them.
>China
Increased protectionist policies does not a war make.
>>376793713
There's only one way out.
>>376795835
S19 was an attack on liberals, PC liberals, gentrification, and clickbait. Even the final episode where PC principle ends up being the hero, was overshadowed by the town becoming pro-gun and learning that guns can solve a lot of their problems.
>>376795804
>Modern South Parks problem is theyre creatively bankrupt so they cover shit thats so niche and FOTM no one will remember it or care 5 years from now.
That's also true of old South Park though, so many episodes and jokes dedicated to celebrities and events that haven't been relevant for over a decade. It's only because I remember the context of them that I still find them funny.
>>376796435
grew up on a third world shithole being oblivious to most memes and such, but upon watching the first 5 seasons of south park I still found them pretty enjoyable. I'd say it's less about south park being carried by trends and more about the overarching plot line trying too hard to be its own thing. We could be getting daily life episodes with hints of continuity, but instead we get fully serialized seasons which puts a lot more pressure on continuously advancing the same plot thread, which simply doesn't mesh that well with south park's usual formatting
>>376796435
>>376797126
Yeah the old episodes were still full of the same material but I agree that it was good because they kept things moving. Making fun of social justice/political correctness is fine, making a whole fucking season repeat that theme is just awful.
