Spectre of Torment was amazingly fun but it felt a little light on content and the writing was pretty meh. I wish they had given The Enchantress or whatever power motivated her more focus.

I agree, his size made him a natural and there is a lot you can do with his upgrades and relic. He would have been my choice but I'm happy we're getting King Knight. Hopefully it takes place as an epilogue for what happens to The Order.

The D-pad is probably the only thing thing I don't like about the Switch Pro. Game runs smoothly, though I've been using the stick so it is takes some getting used to since I'm so used to digital controls with platformers. Y'know I hated Reize at first too but he's kind of grown on me. He's such an earnest unironic OCdonutsteel that it goes right on through cringy and comes out as kind of bizarrely endearing. Like if Sonichu were to co-star in a Kickstarter game completely straight-faced, with no mockery, treated exactly as the creator intended him to be.

When you get right down to it, Reize is generic and a bit of a Sue but he's not a half-demon pony Keyblade wielder or anything. Just an anime protagonist who happens to be the pet project of some rich sperg. My inner middle schooler can't help but be happy for him.

Float burst is always a good choice for learning how to control Plague Knight, it gives you a lot of room to correct mistakes on your bomb jumps. Having the Vat arcana to give yourself an emergency platform also helps.

As for bombs, I usually go with black powder or component powder in the bounce casing with quick fuse.

Beyond that it's just practicing his jumps and learning the extent of his mobility. Don't forget you can jump, throw a bomb and charge a burst, then use your second jump.

Also, to add what this guy is saying, if you press the bomb button right after using a burst (as in, when you release the button, press it again immediately), Plague Knight won't throw a bomb, allowing you to charge another burst and maintain your momentum. However, the Float Burst doesn't let you charge another burst in midair, so keep that in mind. It's a good crutch for you when you're unused to Plague Knight's movement in the air, but it's good to switch to another burst when you've got a hang of it.

And in addition to Vat stopping you in midair and giving you a platform, the double jump can halt your momentum entirely if you don't input a direction. Don't panic if you feel you're going out of control. You get a lot of movement options, so feel free to experiment.

Spectre has no second chances or sequence breaking when it comes to his platforming. It is very tight and procedural many times. Also the bosses move way faster and I generally take more damage than I need to. I can't remember the last time I god mauled by Black Knight as Shovel.

No. If you buy treasure trove, you're getting the whole thing, including the upcoming campaign, though I think the 3ds isn't getting battle mode. They also let you purchase the campaigns separately for ~9 dollars, but I'm not sure if that's the case on the 3ds
