Rule #1: Nobody is ever allowed to bring their boyfriend/girlfriend/husband/wife into the chat room as a permanent member.

Rule #2: If you're in voice chat and have to do a lot of talking to people around you, mute yourself as a courtesy to everyone else. Nobody wants to hear you argue with your flat mates about household responsibilities when we're in the middle of a game.

Rule #3: If you rage then keep it to yourself. Don't ruin everyone else's enjoyment of an activity because you get tilted by your dog barking or your kid is getting all up in your business.


As long as I keep to these three, and nobody is a passive aggressive git, groups tend to stick around well enough.
