Mainly because of the fables source material but as someone who didn't know about fables it was great.

Telltale really needs a better engine. Preferably one that doesn't try to kill itself every time it tries to remember your decisions.

Despite making games that have virtually zero gameplay besides quick time events, you'd think that they'd at least make up for it by having good visuals and animation. But just fucking everything is subpar about TTG. I don't know how they've survived in this state for this long, they made two good visual novels and they've been getting by on goodwill ever since.

I watched 2 yesterday, it's very well made film, definitely in my top three Marvel films. Some of the jokes were too juvenile, but apart from that it's great.

They were lucky once with TWD and got recognition, then they made TWAU and TFTB and they were their only good games after TWD, considering how many shitty game they've made recently without any good ones I would say they're going to die soon.
It's such a shame we won't get more of S&M, TWAU and Borderlands but considering the current state of Telltale it would be garbage anyway.
