Outside of MonHun X, I don't have anything to look foward to.

is there any good exclusive 3ds games that are original ips? i have rhythm thief and thats about it.

buying the new 2DS XL at launch, got a backlog of ~30 games on there

how are SNES VC games on the 3DS? I've seen pics of Earthbound that are lacking in brightness, nintendo put some anti-epilepsy filter on with no option to turn it off

In case you are wondering, you need to go onto the eShop after getting the game, and select to download the 1.2 update. It's not an option in the game menu anywhere. You can then go into Extras, in order to download the character.

Eroko (GalGun character) is coming out June 1, free for two weeks as well.

Just got a 2ds and I am playing stella glow. I'm honesty surprised by horrible the 3ds library is in comparison to the vita /psp/ds. I'm particularly mad at the claims that the 3ds is great for jrpgs. It's an outright fabrication. It's a good ds/gba machine at least.

There have been job listings for a software dev to create music apps for their newest "portable gaming console" last month, and over the last year, patents for various handheld components have been found. Not to mention there was a rumor going around that Sony was going to release a new console at E3 this year, which may be the Vita 2 as a new home console wouldn't make sense at the moment.

I'll believe it when I see it. I think if Sony were going to try again with the Vita they would have done it by now. Their only chance would have been cutting the Vita's life short and trying again without a recent Nintendo handheld as a competitor. Instead they put out PSVR and PS4 Pro instead, and have their first party devs working on games there.

One of the biggest reasons the Vita flopped everywhere but Japan was the lack of support, and Sony's not really in a position to provide the necessary support for the Vita 2 now. It would just be really surprising to me if they turned around and tried to go all in on a new system when they've basically ignored the Vita since 2014.

Thing is Sony NEVER does that. Even when the ps3 was bleeding money they never dumped it. This is the same company that didn't let VIAO die until it was billions in the red. Love them or hate them Sony doesn't dump product just to replace them.

I think there will be a vita 2 if switch sells which looks like it will. The reason being is because it would match what sony did with the ps3. They took a failing system, and stuck to it. EO5 was my first EO game, I could not beat the first mission, spent hours and hours on it. The mission was only creating a map of the first dungeon. I kept thinking I did something wrong. Drew the map many times and went step by step. Turns out there was a bug that if you fill in the water spaces that map would be counted as incorrect. Having such a buggy first quest in the 5th game in the series really turned me off to the series. It will always be a 1/10 for me because of that.

Anyone can get a ps4 and end up with a handful of games they like. Also ps4 has full 1080p 60fps. The vita runs at sub native/30fps for the battles and 720p for the novel parts.

Just saying man, people act like vita will be the same experience but it wont be. The jaggies are real and the textures are super soft and muddy. It's still the version I bought, but the ps4 version looks much much better.

It depends on the game. For Utawarerumono, it didn't bother me much. It's a VN with a lot of hand drawn CGs anyway. I bought both PSV and PS4 for False Mask, then PSV only for Mask of Truth.

Blue Reflection on the other hand, after playing both PSV and PS4 version, and I have to say it needs to be played on the PS4.

It doesn't actually bend from the heat anon, just a small fraction of consoles in the first manufacturing run were slightly warped out of the box

The wrist straps can be a bit annoying to come off though, that's definitely a part that needs a bit of refining.
