Minecraft crashed on me twice. The only other game on Switch to crash my console was Breath of the Wild. The framerate dips below 30 sometimes, and the map isn't as big as the PS4/XONE editions (but bigger than Wii U/360/PS3).

But yeah, you get some 'free' (thrown in) texture packs with the Switch Edition, in addition to Mario Pack. And it's portable, and substantially better than Pocket Edition.


That being said I really hope we get a Zelda themed map and texture pack now.

I'd say Wii U and Switch are the only 'console' editions that doesn't have ingame voice chat. And on Xbox or PS you can add someone to a voice chat by looking at your currently played with users..
