The problem is not the individual drivers of any given GPU. The problem is that the game is just a shit port of the ps4 version.

I'm 21hrs in, second playthrough and I've had about 12-16 crashes. Strangely, these crashes happen when I'm just running around, never in a boss fight or cutscene.

Even the best i5 and a 1080 won't run this game well.

All I had to do to fix it was close Fraps. For whatever reason it was fucking up with the files.
Only got one crash through nearly 6 hours of gameplay and that was after I alt-tabbed out to see if the game would still work if I opened Fraps again.

So here's what I did to apparently minimize crashes (possible eliminate them, can't be sure though).

Disable CEGUI in FAR's dxgi.ini

This helped, but didn't eliminate the crashes.

Then I made a batch file, containing:

pushd %~dp0
start /affinity 5 NieRAutomata.exe

And use that to launch the game. It just sets the affinity for you, and then launches the game.

You might have to change the number there, it's meant to be a hex number representing the processors you want the game to use. 5 is if you have 4 cores, 55 for 8.

The batch file is the main thing, obviously ignore the first thing if you aren't using FAR?
