Why the environment and textures in this game are so shit?
>inb4 story and gameplay over graphics
Both aren't good enough to detract from dullness of the world

>Why the environment and textures in this game are so shit?
Because Platinum Games

because that would require some technical competence, and the japs tend to be shit at it
>>376739330
they put everything into character models

60 FPS on consoles, small budget, relatively large world. Pick all of them.
Platinum uses low res textures for that sweet barely stable framerate.
Map consists of areas that are connected with each other via shortcuts. Each area is distinct and detailed.
I agree graphics could be better, but I really enjoyed exploring the game's world and didn't think it was dull at all.
Why are there a lack of enemies in this game? They're like only 5 real enemies besides bosses.

Consoles killing vidya, as always
japs cant make high quality games.
Stories, heck the japs are so wierd the stories are bound to be intresting
Gameplay, either really basic or hack n slash
Graphics: they only cater to the PS4, if it runs a 60fps they get praised and noticed more
Every game developed in japan is like this.

Sounds great.

But I love jap games because stories don't take themselves seriously and graphics have style instead of graphics
Here we have scantly dressed cyborgs in a story with a tone that it seems it tries to take itself seriously(all the endings)
It's like a very well rated anime series. As a grown up you try and watch it, but all you get is cliched stereotypes and high school edgyness.
