Maybe I'll try again when they transition (it's on the 24th).

I play it every other day with friends. It's still pretty fun once in awhile, also really the only moba of its kind as far as I know.

Lately I've been learning how to play Sentry. All these years and only now am I learning how to use his beacon aggressively instead of just plopping it in bushes and fucking off.

I've never really come across cheaters in the first place though.

I put around 600+ hours into it. I play it on and off now. I doubt I'll ever really get back into it at this point, but its nice to pop in and see what they did every now and then.

What will old paying players get?

Some kind of exclusive skins? Or maybe get all characters unlocked?

I'd go back to play it again if I didn't have to play a billion games to unlock almost any characters.

The old players get the characters they already had unlocked, and if you bought Starstorm and Overdrive, you get all of the future characters. Also some legacy crap I can't remember for old players too.

Sorry, I might've worded it poorly.
In other words, if you own the base game + both DLC's BEFORE the 24th of May, you'll have all characters past and future free forever.

Otherwise, you'll just have the base game's characters unlocked (+ the ones for whichever DLC you own, if you do).

I might try it again when it goes f2p then, I wasn't a big fan of it when I bought, I was expecting more of the game to be fair and the controls were a bit clunky, and I didn't really like any of the characters I had unlocked.

I still hate how most characters are assassins that can instantly obliterate any enemy and the ones that aren't are almost pure garbage.

Well it depends on how much the characters interest you.
I don't really like Chucho. But Yoolip is okay and I find LUX pretty fun.

Plus you could always just buy it so you're upgraded to the all 'nauts pack. But that's more of an investment than anything.
