Does setting the lighting to medium in FAR fix the crashes? Had my first crash after playing for maybe 5 hours straight. It was just after I ran all the way back to the beginning area for a sidequest so fuck me I have to run through that again. It's not bad with the shortcut bridge but still annoying. Dogshit port makes me glad I didn't buy the game.

I installed the FAR patch and downgraded the AMD drivers to 16.xx and the game ran mint. you can audio turn off ambient occlusion and anti aliasing for a good boost without any real noticeable downgrade in graphics, not in 1080 at least.

You can find her repack and go check out a torrent. Just download the MD5 folder or whatever. The mod files are in there along with other stuff. Just copy and paste the mod files to where you have Nier installed and launch the game. You should see some yellow text confirming that the mod is working.

4790k 970 latest drivers works fine 60 fps at high, few drops to 50 something with 8x AA, no noticeable drops with 2x AA or AA disabled.

Didn't like the game though.

I played the day 1 edition with baldman's bypass and now I'm on fitgirl's updated version. I've never heard that jet sound. I think only certain rigs get it. I recommend fitgirl's if you're on day one. It's a 9 gig download if you grab the lossy videos instead of lossless. There's hardly a difference.

I'll just tell you right now I had to start over when I switched from baldman's version to fitgirl's repack. I tried to transfer the save file(s) but the game just refused. I ended up just using cheat engine for money to unlock chip slots earlier (and buy/upgrade weapons) so I could socket speed chips and zoom around from mission to mission until I got back to where I left off.
