What are some games with good necromancers? Looking to scratch

d2 is good
gw1 is good
gw2 is ok if you like curses/death & decay instead of minion masters

there's probably some necro style builds for path of exile but i haven't played it much

Diablo 2 is probably what you're looking for.
Necro is getting added in 3, you should probably give it a try when it's released. With the expansion and all the patches, the game is definitely fixed now.

Heroes of Might and Magic 3. Right up with Diablo 2 are my two favorite necro games.
