The entire point of the game was started and finished within its context and literally the only other area that could be expanded on would be Byrgenwerth since it was supposedly a large college and pieces of it are seen to have been scattered into the dream realm.

I don't want it, but the sad thing is i'm still gonna buy it. the soulsborne series is the only series that has me engaged for the past decade. plus I'm not sure what direction it would go. The only real things to improve BB is expand on Byrgenwerth and add stuff to make chalice dungeons exciting, such as different enemy variety in Isz and Loran chalices and add unique architecture to each chalice dungeon. That can be done in a massive DLC and update, not a sequel

I don't know about you, but I'm hyped as all shit.

Think about this. Dark souls 2 had little to no involvement from Miyazaki. Dark Souls 3 had minimal involvement from him. He was half working on that; and half working on the Old Hunters, but it seemed all of the attention went to Old Hunters (best FROM DLC by a very wide margin). Quite honestly, I think the only reason he was involved at all on DaS3 was because of what a piece of shit Dark Souls 2 ended up being.
Miyazaki was not involved on the Dark Souls 3 DLC.
B-Team was working solely on Dark Souls 3 DLC. (Which is why it sucks shit)

B-Team problem won't exist with Bloodborne 2, as the majority of production is handled by Sony Japan. That means, for the first time; we're going to get a guaranteed good sequel. They'd actually have to fuck up a lot in order for it NOT to be a better game than the first.

What were the issues with Bloodborne?
- Weapon and build Variety (mostly fixed with old hunters, will 100% be fixed in the sequel)
- Chalice Dungeons (Optional, and unlikely to return in BB 2, admittedly shit though.)
- Side quests, or lack thereof.
- A lack of content (Which I don't see people really mention, because the content in the first game is SO FUCKING GOOD.)
- A few shitty bosses, and areas. (Nightmare of mensis, Nightmare Frontier, Rom the Vacuous Spider, Bloodstarved Beast, Micolash, Witches of hemwick)
- Crappy pvp (Guaranteed to get fixed in 2)

The first game had little to no budget. It managed to sell 3 million units on an install base of 20 million. Sony will be pushing this game, it exceeded sales expectations by a shit-ton.

Prepare yourselves, boys. We're about the get the best souls game, full stop.

It can be done right. It just needs a different setting for the horror to take place. It feels like they've done everything they possibly could with Victorian England. The American west would be the best possible setting for a sequel - mix it up with Native American, Salem Witchcraft, Voodoo, and even Aztec folklore.
