As much as I loved Bloodborne and wanted MOAR, it's probably better off without a sequel.

I would rather From do a new IP. It can still be a "spiritual successor" to Souls but it needs to be a more radical departure. Bloodborne was too weighed down by its Souls roots.

The real question is how to breath life into the format, it's kind of become singular in a sense when From Software is involved and that can be more bad than good. I love the their games they've produced, but they need to rethink the formula to move on forward after DS3 and BB.

Bloodborne 2 is being made by Japan Studio only.

It may not actually be called Bloodborne 2, but it basically is. It's more actually like a Demon's Souls 2, but in a modern Bloodborne like setting with a similar trick weapon thing. It's kind of like a bridge between Demon's and BB. Can't explain. The Old One is a major part of the central plot as well as the Dream Structures from Bloodborne.

I'll repeat, this is only JP Studio. No other studios involved, though I heard down the grapevine that people from Team Ico are involved.

Blood Ministration is unique to Yharnam so it would have to place in Yharnam or whatever city that future Yharnam might turn into. The only other thing I can think of are the labyrinths beneath the ground. It'd be interesting if BB2 took place 100% in subterranean areas and dreamscapes.
