Man do I love System Shock 2 without any substance. To enjoy myself with the original game, I had to edit SS2 so that all the enemy textures were solid black and all the voice files were excerpts of audiobook versions of economic textbooks. All that atmosphere, monster design, and intriguing characterization was getting in the way of me fucking around with character builds. Thankfully, Prey doesn't need to be modded to remove its soul, because it comes prepackaged without one!

This is why I unironically like Denuvo. It's an unintentional shit test publishers use that can help you avoid bad games. If a game has Denuvo and it isn't remove by the publisher after a while, it's 100% guaranteed a bad game.
