Comfy, much like fun, is a rather meaningless term in discussion since people can find different things comfy.
I personally think late 90s 3d games comfy, so playing thief or quake and shit is comfy to me even though they can be pretty tense and hectic games. If someone wanted comfy i would first ask him to describe what he means by it or give examples of themes or gameplay elements that induce that feeling.
