Is it bad I actually like this one the best out of the trilogy?
I grew up with all three but I went back and replayed them not too long ago an 2 felt the most cohesive. It wasn't as basic bitch as Jak 1 when it came to platforming and combat and it didn't constantly turn into a fucking racing/car-combat game like Jak 3 did. Plus, the gun play was SOOOO much better than 3's "Spam Beam Reflexor 2 win". Granted the yellow gun was still OP, but you at least had to aim unlike in Jak 3.

Fuck the difficulty curve in 2 though. That shit is fucking spastic at best. The Onin game fucked my dyslexic ass hard as kid.

Yeah naw. 2 is for underrated as fuck, but it's not anywhere near as good nor iconic as 1 or 3.

1 is simple as fuck but it has everything it needs and nothing it doesn't. It's a movie with all the fat trimmed, all that's left is lean-mean muscle. It may be just a translation of Yojimbo, but it just works. Nothing else I need to say here. It's the best example of "less is more" I can think of.

3 is almost a perfect movie. Not only does it have some of the most iconic scenes and cinematography in film history, it also has some of the most iconic scores too. I mean yeah, the FaFDM theme is good, no doubt, but it can't fucking compare to the trilogy that is The Trio, The Ecstasy of Gold, and GBU theme. Those are fucking legendary in there own right and used perfectly in the movie. Even in terms of story, it's a WHOLE LOT more involved than 1, but shit, everything has it's place and it fits together just right just like in 1. It's got some fat, yeah, but that fat just adds to the flavor of the meat.

In comparison to either of these, 2 feels like a half-measure. If you want a good simple western with nothing extraneous, you're probably going to like 1 the most. If you like a more complicated western with a more involved plot, then you're going to like 3 more. Of course, 2 has aspects of both 1 and 3, but in nowhere near the same quantity/quality. 2 is a jack of all, master of none. Good movie, but nowhere near the best in the trilogy.

try some older pc fps my man, if you aren't a pc type they are toastertested.
I grew up on goldeneye, timesplitters and later gaylo. When i finally on a whim tried quakelive and got it running 60fps and changed fov for the first time i got more comfortable with mouse instantly and had a BLAST.
After becoming more used to mousing and keyboarding try and look up advanced movement if you're having fun to increase it even more.
For singleplayer shootan try a sourceport of doom 1 and 2 with mouselook and stuff. It opened a completely new world of fun in fps for me. While relatively generic gameplay-wise Now FEAR was really great for someone not used to the genre.
