Just checked SaiyanIsland and it seems to be true. It'll go to PS4/Switch in Japan specifically though, so considering that Pirate Warriors 3 and Burning Blood made both their way to the PC thanks to Bamco Europe, I'd like to think this'll be no different (even though it kind of doesn't matter, the WiiU Version looks perfectly playable on Cemu).

Don't get me wrong, that's not what I said.
But Innocence R does have problems that are due to the low budget, or almost complete lack of it actually, especially compared to Hearts R, it's much slower and clunkier, the animations are worse(and it's not like Hearts R animations are that good to begin with), we could have had another great Vesperia lite system with some unique gimmicks and instead we got some totally unimpressive and generic battle system.
There's plenty of games that can be rather good, great even, with low budget, but it's no mistery that Innocence R suffered a lot from the lack of it, and the fact that it costed as much as Heart R made many people mad, then again, it was that particular period in time where Tales suffered from one retarded decision after the other, and it doesn't look like we're out of it either.

Let's hope this Switch game will be good, at least they'll drop the open world meme, or so I hope.

Taiko is better with buttons due to the simple fact that you can actually easily do back and forth button inputs without essentially rapidfiring on the drum itself. It's a mess on drums to do Oni for example, it's possible, but it's rough, especially on the newer games.

But that all comes down to actual skill. I'm not saying I'm any better at the game but there are people who can manage the rapidfire bits in time to the rhythm with the peripheral. If you can't do it, then you need to practice more or you just lack the sense of rhythm necessary. It's as simple as that.

That being said, Taiko was awesome on DS. Miserable to try with fingers but if you had 2 styluses, it was a blast.

As one anon mentioned, they could try using gyro controls on the joycons but I honestly don't see it happening. Most likely case is they use a basic touch interface. Because the switch doesn't support a stylus, I could see that being less fun with fingers. Not without fun, but much less fun.
