Yes. Notice how they haven't been able to replicate it with the sequels. Oblivion and Skyrim are still fun games, but the settings are fuckboring and stories are just as fuckboring. Bethesda will never make a Morrowind again.

Morrowind is far from being perfect but it's still one of the best games ever made.
