I'd say all people here care about is gears of war, uncharted, halo, cod and they're all waiting for skyrim 2

They are fucking retarded, words can't express how dumb they are. None of my friends know what Metal Gear is etc etc. 75 % of people in Russia didn't even know RE franchise existed before 7 came out. I can go on listing these things for the rest of the day.

My main obsession is SMT, but I like Metal Gear a lot. I play a bit of everything though.
Most people here are really into Soulsborne, football games and CoD
The country isn't very good for the industry. I don't know of any developers based here, the closest thing would be Rockstar in Scotland. There was a big games convention here sponsored by GameStop recently and it was an absolute shitshow

Dunno, russkie from baltia here. All my friends were big on PS1 titles such as mg, RE, ff etc. Sure, with advent of online and so called "computer clubs" there was a MASSIVE shift to online games, cs quake ut ultima were like a religion. And now it goes down the usual slope like in every part of the world, overwatch and cowaduty are hot stuff, wow is on ice. Sony is still big, Nintendo is considered a joke. MS is somewhere in between. PC is still prevalent.

Thats really strange. The ps1 was so fucking huge in here that every kid in my school (Russian school btw) wanted it and knew about AWESOME THREEE DEEE games like tekken and gt. PC still was and is relevant.

PSP went huge here, it was like a "cool kid" indicator. That was fun, we played Tekken 5 and Naruto games. LocoRoco and Patapon were also a thing haha
