I'm playing through this with the subs. It's good,

The dub for this game is really solid. Did a whole run and I have no complaints whatsoever. Sub elitists are the only ones crying over the dub.

Sub is far, far better than the dub, both in terms of acting and in terms of recording quality. The only problem is that certain important things don't get subtitled, requiring you to look it up.

The dub is very good, except for Shinya who is fucking terrible. I'd actually say Ryuji's ENG voice is far better than his JPN voice.

The translation quality is another matter but that's the same whether subbed or dubbed.

The dub is of the same quality as the other persona games. Its not amazing or anything but it does the job well enough that I wouldn't bother playing with subs.

Dub isn't bad at all, I was originally going to do my first run dub and then NG+ sub but honestly the english voice acting grew onto me so much by the time I finished the game. I like being able to understand what the characters are saying in battle and what the people in the background are saying too, which doesn't get any subtitles iirc

Hm, guess I'm happy with my choice then. I get to experience the story blind with better acting first, and then I'll probably replay it sometime for the trophies, where I'll use the dub to hear little details I missed.

Joker, Ryuji, Makato and Yusuke are all well done. Other party members aren't bad.

Some shitty background characters. Morgana in battle is annoying.

It is kind of hilarious when Ann has a line like "I'm great at English!" or students in her class, who have lines in English, ask her to translate for them in Hawaii.

DOUBLE hilarious on Kawakami's date when they can't understand the shrimp salesman.

The twins keep kicking my ass on Hard. Is Yoshitsune and reflect damage the only real way to win this? Even with hassou tobi I keep running out of time when they're around 1/4 health. I assume Charge/Hassou is the only viable option here?
Should I be bringing a different team than Ryuji/Morgana/Ann? Or is solo the only option so I can force them to reflect the half-health attacks?
