God, I think I spent 180 stamina just trying to find a way to beat the Ursula map on Lunatic while allowing my Ursula to kill the map's Ursula.
I never realized how tough that map can be when you don't murder Ursula in the first round. I didn't even realize that the ax unit had wings of mercy, I've never seen him use it.
Ended up having to give my Julia her weakest weapon to avoid having to deal with a teleporting ax unit.

You don't need a specific unit, you just need a halfway decent blue. Also the 3% chance is an overall thing. It doesn't apply to sniping. If a banner has no green focus, rolling a green orb will result in a 0% chance to get a focus unit, not 3%, and the other colors will have a slightly higher chance of having a focus to compensate so that the average chance is 3%

If you rolled on the peg knight banner (3 blue, 1 red) and the female mage banner (1 blue, 3 other) it would take far less orbs to get a 5* blue on the former than the latter

Fury nets you a few more kills but it does the self damage and puts you below the QR range. If you're planning on going more offensive with her in player phase than go fury, if you're planning on going more defensive enemy phase and taking advantage of forts than TA+QR is better.

Personally I have all 4 skills on +Atk Nowi and with the current map rotation I'm liking TA+QR more

Fury 3 won't up your defenses as high as TA 3 does against reds.
But if Lucina is running Fury 3, you're pretty much fucked if she has Moonbow, with or without TA 3. If that worries you, Swordbreaker will save your ass, but won't make you as dangerous against other weapon types.

This all on Neutral IVs though, if your Nowi is +Atk with TA 3, you can oneshot a Fury 3 Lucina almost every time.

Works decently as well, though it's probably better in defense teams to get someone by surprise. I'd still prefer QR though as with Vantage you gotta spend a turn taking a hit first before it activates while QR will immediately get a kill onto most things that attack her in the first round, and if it's a red chances are that they will do very little damage so she gets to keep her QR up.
