I've owned mine for nearly eight years now and I've had absolutely no problems beyond having to replace the powerbox because my Mum was paranoid about the frayed wires on it starting fires.

I don't think it can stay on for hours at a time anymore though, which makes shit like those achievements in Dead Rising and Rock Band 2 impossible for me now, although it largely depends on the weather I think.

The 360 was THE console most people had for the majority of last gen. About two people I personally knew had a PS3 and they barely ever talked about it because for the longest time it was the NO GAEMS machine. Hell, the main reason I got a 360 was because all of my friends had it and it had games that I wanted on there.

99% of multiplats ran better on the 360 (which lead to it having a fairly large library for the longest time), and for the longest time last gen it consistently outsold the PS3 which only caught up when both consoles were pretty much dead and it actually had some games (and they're still going, pretty much), yet on here it's pretty much like the console never existed to begin with despite it having a massive influence on the way the industry is now (for better or worse....mostly worse).

Whether or not you like it is irrelevant, and being ignorant of basic vidya knowledge puts you on the level of fake girl gamer, honestly.
