That's quite a feat. I remember back when I was a kid that I could never beat this boss no matter what,and I just stopped playing in the end.

Fuck this game and it's endurance round bullshit

I've been trying to beat this game without power ups on Expert mode for the longest time, and the flying section is just impossible.

Well,it isn't for everybody. I,for one have enough time to waste on challenging games like this,and I like failing over and over again,only to get better and better and finally beat the game.The feeling is great,but I can see why some folks wouldn't find it fun.
I though the maze was one of the best levels too.The bosses weren't too hard in that stage honestly (one literally doesn't even attack you).It was very unique compared to the other stages.

I do agree on the flying stage part though.Fuck that level.Almost made me drop the game.

The maze is fine, it used to give me trouble though since I kept rolling minion soldier, curry, and whatever is the stage that has turrets on top and destroys the ground. I'd say it's a casual filter on all difficulties. The flying stage is just horrific.
>Lets have a large stage with bullethell where you have to dodge shit for about 10 minutes, while you have a fairly large hitbox and a shitty dodge move. Then, if you can make it out with 1hp, let's have another boss fight!
It's not the worst when you have the light sabre/fire chaser, but doing it with only one item is nuts.

Without a gun, and its attacks hit you before you hit it. The only way to beat it without taking too much damage is to abuse it's ai. What a load of shit.

I'm just pissed that Nintendo did fuck-all after just a handful of 3D NES conversions. That Sega released more 16-bit games than Nintendo did 8-bit, while giving them more features, is embarrassing.

Still, guess I should be glad Sega released some pretty awesome versions of Gunstar Heroes, Out Run, Space Harrier and Sonic 1/2.

I forget the name but it was a fighting game on the genesis. Boss had 4 or 5 forms gaining health after each one. Kicked my shit in too many times to count and you restarted the whole game if you lost.

I comepltely agree. Not only did Sega embaress Nintendo completely by doing better versions of their arcade, MS and Genesis classics, they also sold them for a better price than greedy Nintendo demanded for their SNES roms. That said SNES roms only work on the N3DS adds insult to injury. Once again Sega did what Nintencouldn't. This time on their own system. Nintendo should be shamed for this, instead people kiss their ass for giving them SNES roms years after the 3DS had been originally introduced.

I remember playing this game as a kid. Goddamn. I don't even remember if I finished it or not.
You beat the color-coded bosses and then go to a huge city, and I think a building flies off and you go after it. Right? Is there much after that? I'm considering going back to re-live this painful experience, but not for 5 extra minutes of new gameplay.
