I need PC game recommendations for someone who has no clue *how* to play on PC, I mean a person only played through Inside so he barely can use WASD. I was thinking Half-Life series but maybe there is something more forgiving yet interesting. Maybe some platformers. Any ideas are welcome. Thanks.

When he complains that he doesn't understand the controls and has no idea what he's doing you tell him that's the point.

presuming you're not shitposting, Just play some FPS and RTS games. after beating a couple everything will feel natural.
Half-Life is probably a good starting point

Dwarf Fortress.

Portal 1 and 2
single player fps are a good start, platformers are more suited to a controller even on pc, unless it's some sort of 3d first person platformer

I'm not, I bought a decent gaming PC for my brother (13 yo) but he's a complete PC newbie so I've been trying to train him first to use his left hand for movement and now I think it's time to add a mouse.

origin access for $4, play through BF4 campaign, cancel subscription.

easier to pirate it

My first one was team fortress
Otherwise any MOBA would do
Todd Howard's megahits such as Fallout 4 and The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim are a must play for gamers of any skill level, anon.

Skyrim on easy might work

Don't know, they made access really easy. Plus that it includes games like Mirror's Edge, Unraveled, Peggle and Dragon Age Origins, all of which could be useful for OP.

If he wants to stay within the law, origin access is the cheapest way to play AAA games of various genres. I don't have it myself but used it for a month to play ME Catalyst, and I'm happy I didn't spend more on that.
